On the obverse, draped and cuirassed bust of Valentinian with pearl diadem with gem, surrounded by the legend D(ominus) N(oster) VALENTINIANVS P(ius) F(elix) AVG(ustus). On the reverse, the emperor, standing and wearing military dress, holding a standard with a Christogram (labarum) in his right hand and, in his left, a globe crowned by Victoria who offers him a crown of laurels. Surrounding the figure, the legend RESTITVTOR REIPVBLICAE and a beaded rim. On the exergue, ANT(iochia) Δ and a dot.
