It was recreated in three types of female nude that it made in different versions, materials and sizes. From 1926 to 1930, he stayed where he met Picasso, intellectuals like Paul Éluard, and participated in the Salon of independent artists in the Grand Palais. In the Spanish Civil War he was committed to safeguarding the artistic heritage. He returned to Paris as an exile until 1949 where he created numerous sculptures and commissioned portraits and chaired the Arts section of the Cultural and Studies Association Catalan Culture.
